If your vehicle or truck gets stuck, an excellent tow strap (often called a recovery strap) can save the day, and oftentimes save your wallet. If you may get the car unstuck by yourself, you won't need to call a towing company, watch for them, and then pay the resulting bill.
Consider your strap as cheap insurance in case you get into a predicament where you might otherwise need towing.
A recovery strap, which is the sort of strap you need to get unstuck, works through a transfer of kinetic energy. You attach the strap to the back of the recovery vehicle from reno towing and the front of the car that needs recovery. Since the recovery vehicle accelerates, the strap stretches to the point so it "wants" to return to its original size. Because it's attached at both ends and can't do this, its only option is to utilize that stored energy to assist the stuck vehicle.

The best width for your recovery strap is several inches. People often believe that the wider the strap the greater, but that's not the case. Since the strap gets wider, its elasticity is reduced, meaning it won't work nearly as well.
